One of the most intimate and award-winning duos in contemporary music arrives. Franco-American vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant and New Orleans pianist Sullivan Fortner have shared a close musical partnership for years. Their duo work is marked by a deep, subtle exploration of jazz standards, French chanson and pop — approaching, through a jazz aesthetic, themes of love’s shifting nature and nostalgia.
