Henar Álvarez premieres La Chochoctora, her first solo theatre show. The Madrid comedian — now close to a million Instagram followers — has kept growing year after year. In a short time she has gone from writing scripts for others to hosting her own programme. Her natural style, activist tone, feminist commitment and wild humour are keys to her success — and they are fully present in this stage show. La Chochoctora is more than stand-up: Henar puts on the coat of her iconic character and raises a critical voice against a system that oppresses women’s sexuality. Expect humour through performance, her own song versions with original lyrics, and live audience interaction. Recommended for ages 18+.
