Maggie Cullen has become an essential reference for a new generation of artists who approach roots repertoire with a voice of their own. Her set maps a musical journey through fundamental works and authors of Argentine and Latin American culture, alongside her own compositions. She won the Gardel Award for Best Folklore Album for her debut, _Canciones del viento_, and is now presenting her second CD, _Décimas_, produced by Popi Spatocco with collaborations by Kevin Johansen and Raly Barrionuevo, among others. On this new record Cullen deepens her work as a composer and revisits some of the authors who shaped her as an artist.
