Mountain Film Showcase Palma 2026 · 20 October 1 screening: A session of the Mountain Film Showcase Palma 2026 devoted to a climbing documentary in the Peruvian Andes. 1) Original title: _L’Essència del Compromís_ Director: Adrià Martínez Country: Spain Year: 2025 Runtime: 49 min Language: original version Synopsis: In the heart of the Huayhuash range in the Peruvian Andes stands the demanding peak of Nevado Yerupajá (6,634 m), a mountain almost unreachable for its steep walls and the indifference of weather. Here Bru Busom, Rubén Sanmartín and Marc Toralles embark on a climb in purely alpine style: a new route called _L’Essència del Compromís_ on the Yerupajá ridge, with 3,000 m of climbing, that evokes friendship, solitude and the challenge of the limit. With Marc Toralles, Bru Bossom, Tomeu Rubí and Cati Lladó. The organisers note that this programme may change. > Contact and links: see the original event source.
