Harp and Flute Duo
- vie, 16 oct
- CaixaForum Palma
The Harp and Flute Duo — Catalina Roig and María Assumpció Janer — offers a musical journey that starts from the classical repertoire and explores different styles and geographies from a shared roots perspective. The programme brings together works by composers such as Isaac Albéniz, Astor Piazzolla, Marin Marais and Jacques Ibert. Although the pieces were written in places as diverse as Spain, France, Italy or the Americas, they share the same essence: that Spanish air that resonates in melodies, rhythms and harmonies. This concert is part of the Microconciertos programme: short, small-format concerts by groups selected in the call for musical performances at CaixaForum 2026. The performance also includes a brief educational introduction by the musicians to contextualise the artistic proposal.
