Katharina Grosse exhibition at sa Llonja

Sa Llonja in Palma once again hosts a major exhibition. This time it is the turn of German artist Katharina Grosse , who lands in Palma’s Gothic temple with _Arrels_, in collaboration with Es Baluard Museu. The Govern de les Illes Balears and Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma co-produce _ Arrels _, an ambitious project by German artist Katharina Grosse that will transform sa Llotja de Palma into a large immersive painting. The exhibition, curated by David Barro , opens on 27 May and proposes an unprecedented dialogue between contemporary art , architecture and history in one of Palma’s most emblematic heritage spaces. The show can be visited until 31 January 2027 . Recognised internationally as one of the most influential creators on the global art scene, Katharina Grosse has spent more than three decades developing a practice that expands painting beyond the canvas to integrate it into architecture , landscape and public space .
