Let’s be palaeontologists

A palaeontologist’s work is often like a detective’s. You have to deduce what happened in the past from careful observation, comparison, classification, relating evidence… and studying fossil pieces and the substrates where they were found — work that lets you build hypotheses about episodes that took place long ago. In this activity, by emulating a palaeontologist’s job, we will identify and classify different fossils and simulate some fossilisation processes that help us interpret the past. We will also see, experimentally, how rock sediments. Recommended for children from 8 years old. At CaixaForum Palma.
