Izan Blasco

- CaixaForum Palma
Saxophonist Izan Blasco presents a performance centred on the soprano saxophone as a solo instrument — conceived as a journey through different ways of listening to contemporary music. The programme explores contrasts of energy, texture and proximity, foregrounding the relation between performer and listeners. The proposal includes works by composers such as Bruno Mantovani, Alberto Posadas and Karlheinz Stockhausen, moving from the rhythmic and virtuosic to the fragile and contemplative, in a format especially designed for close listening. This concert is part of the Microconciertos programme: short, small-format concerts by groups selected in the call for musical performances at CaixaForum 2026.
