Saul Steinberg, artist presents works from the first full retrospective of the artist in Spain, organised by the Juan March Foundation in Madrid with essential support from the Saul Steinberg Foundation. Crossing genres without borders, Steinberg called himself “a writer who draws”. The thematic show gathers drawings, paintings, prints, collages, three-dimensional pieces, photographs, artist books, magazines, documents and film — a map of how his facets spoke to one another across a lifetime.
